Yes. The Tarawa uses such a signal in FA after Paladin and Hunter return from Hari.

Sorry. The problem I had was the redundant, duplicated content in multiple pages. To achieve what you want, I suggest that we have a main page - this one - with the general description, etc, and subsequent pages for each variant you want to cover, including any specifications, images, etc. Does this work for you? - Wedge

Like we talked on IRC. Let the "Burst Signal" article explain how the network works. These two installations should have unique entries that say "Communications Relay that provided relay for XYZ..." or whatever. They might mention where the example we have a pic of was seen or any stats we have (which are almost 0). --[[User:Dundradal|Dundradal]] 08:17, 22 August 2010 (CDT)
I wrote that way before the discussion in #wingnut. Is this marginally better now? I quoted Epsilon sector because this particular station was the one at [[Orestes IX Communications Station|Orestes IX]]. - Wedge

Do we have any evidence to support unaided inter-sector communications between large capital ships and installations? (I suppose the Midway in the H'rekkah system might count.) Doesn't make sense to not use the relays if they are available. - Wedge

Skip sighed. That had been one of his pet projects, to get the R and D money needed so that listening posts, capable of grabbing translight burst signals, could be reduced in size. Right now the antenna arrays were the size of a battlewagon and the best units available could probe only a few dozen light-years in.

Yes. The Tarawa uses such a signal in FA after Paladin and Hunter return from Hari.

In AS, there is talk of direct communications between Earth and McAuliffe.

Also, before combining articles like this please ask first. I'd rather have each of these installations have their own page then have one buried as an image in a gallery for the first page. --Dundradal 07:11, 21 August 2010 (CDT)
