Strictly speaking, since we are talking about a singular squadron, it is grammatically correct to talk about The Shadow Cats as: 'It was a part of Flight Wing 137...' I'll concede, though, that it doesn't sound quite right, especially in a colloquial context. The same applies to The Black Pumas, etc. - Wedge
