A spokesman for weapons manufacturers KriskArms told yesterday of a mishap at the company's plant on Hermes. Trouble started while technicians were testing KriskArms new Novaflow II laser, a state-of-the-art shipboard weapon. Unfortunately, the laser proved too powerful for the test-area, and a large portion of the factory was vaporised. The biggest loss was the company's entire stock of Cesium, an incredibly electro-positive substance essential for the manufacture of light-energy weapons.
