Then the article simply has to say "The Yan war happened." Again we don't need massive articles here. Just what we know, even if it's only a single sentence. --[[User:Dundradal|Dundradal]] 07:17, 21 August 2010 (CDT) |

We need to figure out how we plan to organize this stuff (Battles, Conflicts, Wars, etc) We don't need a category for each thing. We need to condense them into one large category and then have subcats. I think this will keep things more organized.
- Dund
I think we've figured this out now by putting the main article text on the category page with then subcategories organizing things associated with the war.
Wars we still need to add that I can think of:
Terran-Yan War
Kilrathi-Varni War
Kilrathi-Mantu War
Landreich-Confederation War
If I remember correctly in AS there is a list of the wars the Kilrathi have fought...or is it FA? --Dundradal 23:05, 20 August 2010 (CDT)
- All we really know about the Yan fight is the fact that it was (presumably) a war, fought with some entity called the Yan. We don't know anything about the Yan besides their name. We don't know whether they aliens or rogue humans (the Confederation handbook timeline seems to arghue against the former), or if the war was even fought in space. When Banbridge says "we", he could mean the Confederation as a successor state to whatever did fight the Yan - it certainly wasn't the Confed, that wasn't formed until 2416.
- The list of races the Kilrathi have fought are: the Hari, the Gorth, Sorn, Ka, and Utara. That comes from Fleet Action, 116. Don't forget the Wu Hegemony that the Emperor's father (Thrakkath's great-grandfather) fought, and the Shata (which may or may not be an alternate name for the Utara). - Bob 02:58, 21 August 2010 (CDT)
