Kurasawa is a star system in Vega Sector The Kilrathi name for the system is Warach Tha. The system has at least one inhabited planet, Kurasawa IV. As of April 2654, it was controlled by the Empire of Kilrah.

During the Vega Sector Campaign, the TCS Tiger's Claw participated in several missions in the system as part of a large Terran Confederation offensive. These missions included:

• The siege of the Kilrathi planet Kurasawa IV.
• The assault on several Kilrathi transports including one Command Staff Ship.
• The escort and defense of a captured Ralari-class Destroyer.
• The escort and defense of the TCS Formidable.

By 2681, Kurasawa joined the Union of Border Worlds.
