Thought you might be interested in this bit of information:
The February 2002 issue of the magazine "computer games" Has a whole nifty article on getting DOS games to run under windows XP. It includes a lot of suggestions for getting them to work. And best of all, they have a list of games they have tried using their methods, and the list includes pretty much all the dos wing commander games. Although I never noticed Armada and Priv2. The only game they were unsuccessful with was, surprise surprise, privateer.
Anyway, I didn't have an urge to buy the magazine ( i am not running xp) so I am sorry I cannot tell you more.
