Wing Commander 3

Hey, sorry I didn't include my specs in the last thread, I guess I'm retarded and it just slipped my mind. Anyway, as I said, I am having trouble getting Wing Commander 3 (original version) to work, and all I see is 4 or 5 white dots scrolling down the blank DOS screen.

My Computer:
Dell Dimension
Windows 98
Voodoo 3 card
Soundblaster 16/Awe emulation
That's all I really know, but there's one other thing: Any time I
want to play a game in regular DOS (not prompt) it always says my CD drive is invalid. Maybe that has something to do with it? That's also why my Privateer game doesn't work.

You have CD-Rom drivers loaded, right? Try booting off a floppy with CD-Rom drivers in the autoexec.bat and config.sys instead of F8ing or rebooting to DOS.
