Hi guys,

I'm curious to what graphics resolution you guys play modern video games in?

For me, I play in 1920x1080. It's the highest resolution my laptop can go, but I'm able to play most games using ~High settings (depending on the game) with smooth frame rates.

1920x1080, because I only play modern PC games if I can plug them into my 1080p TV and sit back in the living room.

My main laptop runs 1920x1200.

1920 x 1080 standard. Laptop does 1600 x 900 but most games don't support that rez, mostly run 720p off that one.

1440x900 because my laptop is old and was built when that was thought to be a pretty good idea.

1680 x 1050 is my monitor's max resolution, but 1440 x 900 maintains the native screen ratio and allows for better text reading. However, the most "modern" game I play is Wing Commander Saga.

I wonder how much faster CryEngine3 runs at 1440 x 900 vs 1920 x 1080?

1080p as well; like most have said, its my monitor's highest resolution. And I think its just as well; any higher and very new games might start straining my video card.
