WCP in Win2000

Is there anyway to get WCP to run in Win2000 without crashing? I have an NVidia TNT2 and SBLive.

Yup...it crashed right at the end of the first mission. After that, it crashed before it loaded up.

Did you use the compartiblity mode and set it to Win98? Read this link if you don't know how to enable it. I would also suggest change the Directx to. Try 6.0 or 7.1 version.

I am running it in 98 compatable mode. It could be stupid visual c++ screwing something up(as if a program does one thing wrong, it has to make it crash)

I got WCP to run in XP, but the video skips like crazy.

Out side updating all your drivers, chipset, run defrig, and disable all programs. I have no other suggestion.

Disable sound accelleration. If you have a SBLive card with LW3 drivers you are out of like. There are compartiblity issues between LW3 and DirectX 8.x which CL has never fix. CL has release XP update drivers for XP, but I doubt it fix those issues.
