WCP Crashing

When i play WCP, in the FMV my computer crash or locks-up
i have tried, disable the sound acceleration, lowering the cache of the cd-rom,the speed of the cd-rom and always crash or locks
I have a TNT2 and an on-board sound card, 128 Mb RAM, and Celeron 400 Mhz, and Windows ME

What sound card are you using. I just found out from CL support that SBLive with Liveware 3 does not support DirectX 8 properly. They suggest using DirectX 7a for playing WCP.

Here's what else I got from CL support.

· Lower the hardware acceleration of the SB Live! and graphics cards.
· In the BIOS under PNP/PCI Configuration set PnP INSTALLED to "No"
· Get the latest Bus Mastering drivers.
· Update the BIOS version.
· Disable IRQ steering in the Device Manager via System Devices -
· PCI Bus - IRQ Steering - uncheck Use IRQ Steering.

It is a crap on board, i dont´know the name, in the drivers section it says CMI8738, i don´t know any more.
