I was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to walk me through (step by step) the process of extracting inflight comms from Prophecy, cuz I just can't seem to turn on my brain...

I did manage to show that HCl's TRE manager could extract WCP's orchestral music...

Can't be too hard: if you've got HCl's TRE Manager, use it on speech.tre and use the options. It's most intuitive... provided you remember how to use DOS.

IIRC, there'll be loads and loads of IFFs. I don't know about converting them to WAVs.

Oh man, I remember the good ol' days of DOS (just don't remember all the commands wait, copy A:\file.* C:\wing2, ahh it's all coming back...
