WCP and Speedy Computers

Hey all,

I have a Pentium IV running at 2+ ghz. Prophecy will install and run under XP but that's about it. Has anyone found an effective way of slowing down the CPU so the game is playing under Warp 7?
 
Prophecy has a speed limiter - a 2 gHz machine shouldn't phase it. What kind of error are you getting? I'm betting there's something other than clock speed behind it.
 
OK, I found out what my original issue was. My joystick, of all things, was not calibrated properly once the game was installed. That made all the difference for game play.

But now the Movies play at warp 2. Anyway of slowing those down? Anyone put out a movie patch?

I have a 1ghz athlon t-bird

I took down in system performace , the hardware acceleration 1 notch from full and am using cpukiller with 25% speed reduction so i have a virtual 750mhz

the movies are fine now and the flying is ok too
