I just receive a email from CL support. I support person said to install Directx 7a. I remember read a few months ago at creative labs newsgroup that one of the reasons they have not release Liveware 4 it was that they were waiting for directx 8 so they can write it to work with directx 8.

I am not sure if I am going to do this since I am not sure if any of my programs requires direct8x. It may be easier just to get a new sound card. Also, MS does not provide a uninstall program for directx8.

Uh huh, that's the downside to integration - once you install it, you're pretty much stuck if anything goes wrong.
