Hi all, I just got WCII working on my machine, (WINXP PRO SP2). I use a Nvidia
card (geforce 4 MS). I hear of a glide wraper for WC, would its use improve the grafics?

Not at all, WC2 is a 2D game I mean, although it uses a few scaling tricks to give the player a 3D-depth feel, rendering-wie it's just 2-d sprites displyed on screen. No 3D rendering, so 3D "accelerators" cards are useless.

Among the Wing Commander games, *only* Prophecy and Secret Ops use any form of 3d acceleration.

my blessings because I can run such "ancient" game in XP...
