I have a trial version of Daemon Tools Pro and have been unable to locate the files necessary to run all three discs (yes, my version of Gold was purchased new with Secret Ops, but it is now scratched and unusable (that is why the interest in virtual cd). I can play cd-less for disk 1 using the Prophecy application file with virtual cd, but cannot find anything on disks 2 and 3 (mostly music and export [tre] files). The application file may/may not be the best choice for disk 1; any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. If anyone knows of (or has) a usable copy of SO for sale, I would be interested if, come on down...., The Price is Right (~~~).

Firstly, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WING-COMMANDE...3.l1177&_trkparms=240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

Secondly, why use the trial version of Daemon-Tools for this - though I have to confess that what "this" is was poorly explained! - The free version is perfectly good.

So what I guess you're asking is this:
Your copy of Prophecy is damaged and you have made a cd image using magiciso or some such, but either a) the damaged disk made a damaged iso or b) you made a iso and copied the files off the disc but the damaged files wouldn't read.

either way you have some of the files but not all and want copies.

Simply put, without knowing what files you are missing we can't help.

The game doesnt load off discs 2 or 3 by the way, it merely requests the cd's to be inserted when required (at least as far as i remember)

Finally, what is the topic title supposed to mean? WC4PG?

WC4 Prophecy gold is i guess what you mean, despite wc4 being a different game,
wc4 proving grounds?
wc 4 pg?
the list of anagrams available are endless, the meanings are none.

Virtual cd's

What I downloaded from DT stated good for 20 days, so took this to mean a trial version.

No, discs 1 - 3 are original and work properly as stated; SO is scratched and unusable. Don't even know how to make an ISO; for all I knew, this file was already on the disk(s). Able to fly missions on disk 1 without the cd, but it still asks for disks 2 and 3 to be inserted into the drive (want to be able to put them into storage to prevent damage).

What I want to reacquire is a good copy of Secret Ops.

Topic: Yes, seem to have missed out on the title, but when I originally bought the game was told it was the 4th in the series and never really read the cover (sometimes a bad habit that leads to embarrassment, as in now *blush*).

Thanks for any assistance that can be provided. I only know enough about computer usage to sometimes be dangerous to its health.

When prompted for the next disk you might need to switch to whatever kind of manager DaemonTools has to tell it to switch to the directory where you copied the game to the harddrive. Then go back to the game and click ok or whatever to say the new CD is inserted

My apologies, I see what you mean know, as AD says, switch over to the disc 2 directory when you need it. They seem to have several newer revisions since the one I use - though I believe that the "lite" version is still a free one with no limitations.
