WC4 voice in videos nearly inaudible
After nealry 10 years of Wing Commander absence I finally got myself to reinstall Wing Commander IV on my Windows XP machine. (WC CIC was a huge motivation to do it).
Everything works fine (I run the Win95 patch). Only the voices of the actors are nearly inaudible in the cutscenes. When I turn up the volume I can understand them a bit, so they are played but I just cannot figure out how to make them louder. I run the Windows 95 compatibility mode, tried to turn of Hardware accelleration of the Soundcard (SoundBlaster Live!) but there is no change to the volume of the spoken text in the videos.
Every other voices in the game are perfect (like conversation with the wingmen or te spoken text when you select optionsduring the cutscenes).
I tried to find information on this topic via the search function but didn't find anything so I dare to open a new thread.
