I have downloaded wincg commander video viewer but I was trying to find the ending for wing commander IV. I keep getting they bad ending (the one where he uses black squadron) even though I never did attach the super star base.

And another question, what is this wing commander IV dvd I keep hearing I tried to look for it on ebay a couple of months ago but i didn't find it so I just brought the regular cd. Does it have something extra or is it just on one dvd.

you also have to take the save the civies missions instead of the weapons raid missions to get the good ending
 
Sometimes the video of the alternative scenes (like you choose A instead or B) and the results of your choices are put into the same file, so you might watch a certain video scene and notice it scene suddenly changing to an entirely different dialogue.

About the dvd it's a bit rare and there are two versions... the DOS/Win95 DVD which is actually a compilation of the 6 CDs, and the special Creative Labs bundled WC4 DVD which contains the movies in DVD quality. Notice that the original scenes were recorded using 35mm film tapes.
 
I think I get what you are saying. The 2 or 3 videos could be on one file.
Also thanx for telling me about the what the dvd version I was going to see if I can find to see the difference.
 
Certainly in the DOS version, multiple paths for a single movie session would be bundled into the same file. The DVD version spreads them over individual files.

The DVD videos are very nice (thanks CIC!), I have a few screenshots up, I'll try to put some more on when I actually get around to playing the DVD version.
