WC4 video locks up win98se with patch

1. i already installed the patch.
* it fixes my sound problem. my video is fine. except when loading video, my system hangs.

2. i have dedicated IRQ5 to my sound card only.
* my sound is working properly.

i don't know what to do to get the game to run beside freezes during the video. i haven't gotten to the game to work since this morning.

i tried looking up in the tech support thread, but haven't found the right thread to fix the problem.

anyone wanna help out?

It would be useful to know a little more about your system specs.

Also if you are running any virsus scan software or anything else in the background you may need to disable them before running the game.

Are your disks scratched? That might make the game hang too (as will excessive grime and finger prints)
