WC4 problem!

I just bought Wing Commander 4. I tried opening it in Windows 98 and I didn't even pass the dos box opening all files needed to run the game. It did froze all times I tried opening it. So i went into the TRUE dos without windows, both quitting by Windows and hitting F8, and I entered in the game! When I tested my system for the sound settings, and tried testing it, nothing happened. I tried stting it manually but it still freeze and no sound is getting out of my sound car, a Sound Blaster Live. What should I do??? I was so impressed by WCP and WCSO that I thought it would be nice to try a past WC game...

Problem solved!

Hey!
I resolved my problem by going to Electronic Art http://www.ea.com website and I downloaded a patch to do a conversion of WC4 Dos to WC4 win95 and it finaly worked in windows! No more sound problems! It works perfectly! Thanks for the tips. Guys who help each other are always good people who will go to heaven in a far future for all their good actions :).
