so i installed the game fine, i installed dxmci13 fine, i installed ac3filter_1_46 fine, then i try to install the mpeg2dec, but when i click register.bat file it says bad command or filename and doesnt register the file. im on windows 98 SE. someone please help me!

does it work without running the register file? I only ever had to use it when I had issues with powerDVD conflicting.

all i get is something saying that the streams of the video are in a incompatible format, and then i get another error after that and then the one saying that the movie files cant be found, but then i get the choices like for the movies, and the mission works.

i dont have any dvd player software installed on this system atm, do i need that? (windvd?) this is my system to run older games and stuff, and i wanted to get this game to work, so i installed a DVD drive, havent played this game in years. I really would love to get it up and running if possible.

Yes, you will need at least some kind of software player for it to work.

so i installed power dvd 5, and i am using the dxmci13 files with it, the only issue im having is on videos they freeze at the end and i have to click ESC at the end of them, seems like i might be missing things doing this? is this normal? other than that its working.
is there another dvd player i need to use? remember im using windows 98 SE i also have a AMD K6-2 366mhz cpu, 128mb of SD 66mhz ram. I like to keep it like this because its for dos games also. (is 66mhz FSB the most you should run on dos apps?) cuz thats what i thought?

PowerDVD conflicts with WC4DVD for some reason. I have it working with mine in XP but you would probably be better off trying to use a different software player and uninstalling powerDVD if you don't have a specific reason to use that particular program.

what player would you recommend me using, what version of like windvd or something would work on my setup? (for windows 98 SE, and 128mb or ram and a 366mhz CPU) because the new versions dont work on windows 98 SE with a 366mhz cpu.

hmm, 366 is *almost* too slow for software DVD players. I'm not familiar with the older versions of winDVD though. IF you've got a newer computer there really shouldn't be any reason not to run the DVD in XP. If it works with powerDVD somewhat I would just put up with it if you don't have any other options.

made a account, guess i'll just install it on a newer pc then, does WC4 support usb joysticks?

The DVD is the windows version, and it should work as long as you can calibrate the stick in windows. There are a few sticks that have issues but it should work.
