WC4 and XP

Hello, I'm having trouble getting WC4 to work with WinXP. I've got the dcimx12 patch but my problems seem to begin before that comes into play. From the very outset, running install.bat, the screen goes fuzzy when it should be asking me if it can install to c:\WC4. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The dxmci patch is for the DVD version, which doesn't have an install.bat file on the disc. What version of the game are you trying to run? We could also use more information on specifically what "going fuzzy" entails and what some of your system components are.

Have you tried just to run setup.exe from CD1?
