I have WC3 DOS, WinXP and a Sound Blaster 4.1 AKA as 128
The problem is that it doesn´t work with the game.
I must use the MIDI option for music.
And nothing works with the Sound FX
The IRQ is 10, so i tried all the options with that IRQ but still doesn´t work
Tried VDMSound, although the sound seems to work fine when i install the game with the VDMsound it says that need one file form the CD or from the HD (from the HD i think) to load the game+vdmsound but i did the full install of both WC3 and the VDMsound, so i don´t know what is the problem with it, i can load the game without the VDMsound...but of course i have no-FX
Also tried the w98-ME compatibilty.
So i have no idea

I don´t know much about XP, but these newer Sound Blasters usually run WC games with less glitches if you ease down on the configuration. So I would advise you now NOT to try any setting higher than "Regular Sound Blaster".
