WC3 Patch for black space?...

Haven't posted here in ages. Here's the question:

Is there any patch available to cause WC3 to display space background during combat as black (rather than the game's native - and somewhat odd - med-dark blue)???...

I thought it was kinda odd from the start, but when WC4 came out and the space background was black, I realized how strange and unrealistic it really was in WC3.

Anyone know?.... Would someone point me to such patch, if it exists?.... Thx.

The gamma shouldn't be affecting it- the game looks perfectly normal to me as well... although, that blue is going to bother me now every time I play. Gracias!

Eh, it's not too much of a big deal really, it doesn't ruin the game or anything.

I assume you already turned the background as darkblue as possible?

I thought that was the gamma setting? On mine it never seemed to make much difference to anything other than making the sky darker.

It is. There are three levels from blue to black that you set during installation. I think control plus the left/right arrow might adjust them in game.
