WC3 KS Mouse problems

I'm running a dual boot win 98 / win XP just to play WC:KS and some old CnC games I dug up from an old box, everything runs fine minus WC3, when I finally get into the cockpit my mouse becomes useless, the game doesnt recongnize mouse movements or buttons, but the keyboard works fine, I'm at a bit of a loss because the mouse works fine in between missions, but as soon as I am in the flight sim mode it simply refuses to work, again this is the Kirathi Saga version of WC3, so I don't even know where the config is... any help would be great
 
You need to enable mouse control. When in space flight, press ALT+O and check Mouse. Save and exit.
