WC3 Joystick Problem

Hi.
At first I wann thank you guys for this page it helped me alot.

My Problem:

I got WC3 running on Vista ( wohey!) but was playing it with my Keyboard (no Joystick).
recently I bought an new Flight-Stick but the game doesn't recognize it.

So what should I do. I have no clue. :(
 
That's important to know, and we'd also need to know how you are running the game. Is this WC3 DOS running in DOSBox? Kilrathi Saga WC3 (you mentioned it was in Vista)? Is the joystick recognized in Windows or other games? What kind of joystick is it?

Did you go into the options menu and enable joystick control? ALT+O while in space.
