WC3 disc 4

did you try out one of those disk doctor machines to get rid of the scatch? How deep is the scratch?
 
I just let my subscription expire on Dead Disc Doctor. Maybe I should re-up it since it had saved a lot of my old games. I think in this case, my disc 4 is officially dead. Last time I used it was like 10 years ago. Problem is, I jewel cased discs 1-3 and left 4 sitting around for 10 years in my crate of many games. It is a gouge, not a scratch so I guess I gotta hit EBay. Oh well. Good news is that in opening the old boxes, I found about 50 games I forgot about. Max Payne 2 in Russian, FreeSpace 2 in Chinese, and a bunch of crap I bought for cheap when I lived overseas.
 
Grasshopper10, i might have a spare WC3 disc laying around that you can just have, ill mail it to ya if you like. First I have to find it.

Ive had WC3 about 3 times or more. I lost most of the discs to my first copy but i believe i still have disc 4 laying around. If i find it ill give you an email if not ill update you on here. Give about a week or so if not sorry dewd
 
Assuming US copyright laws allow it (disclaimer!), I'd back your disks up when Kilrathikiller's delivery arrives. I had no trouble making backups of WC3 and 4 which I use when playing, so I keep the originals tucked away safe.

You can also pretty much write all of WC3 to the HDD if you've got enough space and you are running it under dosbox, saving the bother of using your media at all.
