WC2 Special Operations

Hello, long time Wing Commander fan here, but not to the level of most of you guys. I'm a veteran of the original two, and I also own Wing Commander Academy. I recently aquired the Secret Ops game, which has kind of got me back into the series.

I started researching the series, which I had never really done before, and found that my personal favorite, Wing Commander 2, has 2 Special Operation add-ons, and that they were available for download. I had knew about WC's Special Operations, and aquired them long ago with the original game, but I never knew about WC2's.



Any ways, to the point. When I downloaded them, it told me that they were meant for the Windows version of the game, but I have the old DOS version. I was wondering if they will work with my DOS version, and if not, is there anyway I could get around it? One final question, are they worth it? Do they have the story and atmosphere of the original WC2, or are they just a cheap add-on?

Any help is appreciated.
 
Unfortunately the version of WC1's Secret Missions and WC2's Special Operations add-ons you are talking about can only be use with The Kilrathi Saga. The Kilrathi Saga concise of WC1, 2, and 3 and was redesign to work in win95.

The only realistic way of get The Kilrathi Saga is at Ebay. You might get lucky at The Game Trading Zone http://www.ugtz.com/

Now WC1 and 2 Deluxe versions do come with these add-ons and are a lot easier to get then The Kilrathi Saga. These versions are DOS.
