WC2 (Kilrathi Saga) too fast

Anyone know how I can slowdown WC2 (Kilrathi Saga ver.)? Animations and subtitles are noticeably speedy, especially mouth movement. I think the combat is also, since I am having problems controlling and aiming my guns. I just completed WC1 and noticed no speed problems and had become fairly adept at flying my ships after 50+ missions (including SMs). Being that this a Windows program, I figured there should be no speed adjustments needed. I tried CPUKiller to slow down my computer, and that slowed the animations down but made my mouse jerky.

I'm running WinXP Pro with an AMD 1.3 GHz CPU.
 
Did you try any other slow down programs? Turbo works great for Privateer 2 (for me) you could give that a shot. I notice the speed in WC2 cutscenes too, I have KS. There isn't any problem as far as aiming or gameplay though.....
 
WC2 in both DOS and KS versions is already frame-limited. The speed inflight is what it was meant to be. If it's still too fast for you, try holding ALT and pressing +/- on the keypad mid-flight. Default speed is 5, IIRC.

As for cutscenes, there's nothing you can do about that but read faster. ;)
