WC2 Kilrathi Saga edition cutscene problems

Hello.

I've been playing through the WC games for the first time and am liking it. However I noticed something odd during my WC2 play trough. For some reason some of the cutscenes are cutting out. Like during the intro I never actually see the Tiger's Claw getting destroyed. It jumps directly to the Kilrathi space station. I think I've noticed the same during some mission related cutscenes too. They seem to start but only flash in for a second or so before moving on. This makes me wonder how much I'm missing..Anyone else had this trouble? Any help? I'm running on W7 with the ddhack.
 
The Wing Commander II Kilrathi Saga version has speed adjustments added in-game to compensate for modern computers - however the cutscene renderer did not. I would imagine on state-of-the-art computers today they would be almost unwatchable.

The best way to experience WC2 is to get the DOS version for cheap and play it via the DOSBox emulator...
