WC1 ks Joystick

I was just wondering if there was a way to slow the joystick down at all in Wing Commander 1. I can play it fine the way it is but I'm trying to spread the word of Wing Commander but the biggest complaint I get is the controls and that the joystick is to sensitive. Any body have any ideas. If not that fine but I was just curious

depending on whether you have a program to configure your joystick, or just the MS game controllers config, you might have a setting to affect the response? there's no setting in game that I know about

Well i forgot to mention that I have the Kilrathi Saga version but alright thanks

I don't recall there being a joystick config in the KS version - I could well be wrong though!

The dos version definitely has a switch for altering the size of the deadzone (the larger means it's less sensitive). There should be something like this in the Windows games controler panel that you can adjust too for the Kilrathi Saga version.
