Great work putting these up but I have a problem downloading them. WMP pops up once I start the download and that's obviously not what I want. I can't "save target as.." becauseit's a php page. How did other people solve this problem?
Thank you for you asistence.

Well, I didn'T set WMP as default play in the Internet Explorer, but set it to none. You might also want to try one of the other links mentioned in earlier news. Just check the archive ;)

and if you don't find the option just go to WMP, options, associated file types (don't know how it is called in englisch WMP) and disable avi files. Now the download should start...

After that enable avi Files again...

Problems playing WC Armada hi-res avi's..

Hi there,

Has anyone else had problems playing these - am using WMP - I get visuals for approx. 10 secs then screen 'locks up', sound however carries on underneath - in other words get sound but no visuals...!! It's got to be a graphics codec of some kind - have 2 machines here, one uses XP Pro [more or less up to date], the other runs Win98 SE. The earlier lower-res episodes ran fine, as do most other avi's, mpg's etc etc..!! The D\L's are fine as I have them backed up to CD now & have tried them on mates machines & they work fine..!! Bit of a mystery really..!!

Any clues..??!!

Have you got the latest DivX Codec installed? If not, that should be the problem, cause they are required to play the movies.
I always only hear the sound but the visuals freeze after a few secs if I don't have the reqired DivX codec installed.

Thanks for the tip - I thought I already had the latest version, obviously not as I've now D\L it, installed it & clips now run fine..!! Thanks..!!

The weird thing is I use GSpot to check media files & it seemed to suggest I had all the codecs installed - ho hum..!!

Once again, many thanks..!!

Rather than messing with file type associations, just pound the Stop button of your browser when a page comes up. Then right-click the "download" hyperlink and select "save target as..."
