WC 3: Kilrathi Saga in Win98

I just installed the Kilrathi Saga this evening on my computer and i was checking to see if everything ran properly and i noticed that the audio in the movie cutscenes is choppy. However, when your not in a movie cutscene, for example just standing on the flight deck, the music sounds fine. Any idea what could be causing this problem? I also tried WC 1 and the background music seemed fine.

Would it have to do with my CD-ROM speed?
 
Just a suggestion, but run "dxdiag" from the command line and turn off the sound hardware (it's a slider bar) option. This is normally the problem with sound problems and older games.
