WC 3 & 4 Windows Patch

I have finally discovered an absolutely perfect patch for WC3&4 ..
it runs perfectly with every Windows version ..
give it a try

Just Copy all TRE.files from your original CDs to the data directory

Could we have some sort of backstory on what this is, who it's by, what it does etc.? I'm far too paranoid to just run a random set of undocumented EXEs/DLLs from a google drive.

I just experimented with different ddraw.dll files until I was able to get a perfect and smooth game. This is my best result. But I can happily provide you with the link to the source. here ..
there is a cfg.file too for some manual settings ..

Unfortunately this doesn't work with Privateer 2. The gameplay is smooth and stable but unfortunately no sound, only music
