WC 2 Delux Edition

A buddy of mine found his old compy of this game and I run windows xp. If I try to install the game nothing happens. I can get to the character naming screen just off the cd but then it crashes. Anyone have any insight here?

The game was made for DOS, not XP. There are quite some issues getting those old games to run - but many of them can be solved with the DOS-environment emulator DOSbox. If you search the forum (especially TechSupport) for "WC2" and "DOSbox", you'll get a lot of answers.
