Want to play WC 3,4,5 and Priv 2 on WinXP

Hello at all! Sorry about my english i know it sucks :( But hope you dont mind about that !
MY systrem is an AMD 64 3200 + Radon 9800 pro and 512 MB RAM using WinXP!
I want to play the Games WC 3 + 4+ 5 and Privateer 2 on this system just it dont work realy ! Privateer 2 it dont work any ! And Wing Commander Prophecy has to fast Videos !
There are any patches out which make this games runable on newe Computer with Win XP ??

I heared about few Patches but not sure i it is true !

What doesn't work in Privateer? Is it the DOS or the windows version.
As for WCP first try to disable the sound acceleration of your soundcard in DXDiag. if that doesn't work there is a fan made patch.
 
can you give us the url where i can find that patch, cause i have the same problem...
 
there's one on the cic's main page (www.wcnews.com). And there are tips and links to hundreds of wyas to making all these games work in WinXP in this forum, including one which subject is "Win XP and WC games". Search around.
 
Hello cff Its is the Dos Version of Privateer 2 (i bought it directlly at the release day) its no realy running under winXP :(
 
If you have a CD Burner I'd suggest looking on the front page of this site (www.wcnews.com). It was just in yestredays news how to change the DOS version to the Windows version. That one should hopefully like XP.
