This utility creates a *virtual* sound card for NT/2000/XP NOT for 95/98.
It´s really useful for people who have an on-board sound chip, crappy sound card or a very old sound card it´s basically to play old games (DOS era) in the above platforms without sound problems.jiggering or crappy quality.
I tested it with WC3 (i have a SOYO mother-board with an on-board sound chip and XP) and the sound and music are very good

Go there and see the compatibilities with old games and how to use it, the utility is called VDMSound.
