Very weird problem...with WC5

I have had this problem since I first got Wing COmmander Prophecy.

Little background first:
THere is very bad graphic hud problems, I used to have an older computyer and thought it was the TNT 1 I had. But a few years later I built my new and improved 1ghz computer, prophet 2 Video card, 384 megs ram. So on and so forth, so I know it is NOT my cpu lol.

Now here is the hud problem i have had for a longtime:
There are LINES that are more extended then they should be, from teh shield generator indicators, there is a horizontal light blue line coming down from the top arc on it. There is another line going vertically off my shield generators. The lens flares have PLUS SIGNS in them. Yes and they are very noticable lol. (I have lens flares since i got the lens flares patch.) Also, the NAV point indicator is very dithered not attached to eachother. And the Hud has no Blue double lines on the top and bottom like shown in the picutre on the playing card. I could send you a screen shot on how mess up the hud is.

Sounds like a driver problem. Did you try reinstalling DirectX or the video card drivers?

Is a problem with the TNT2 chip card, no solution !!

I have a Riva TNT2 M64, and there is a solution.

In your display settings window (Right-click on the desktop and click "Properties"), there should be a tab reading the name of your video card. Click on that.

Click on the Additional Properties button, and look for the DirectX tab. Click that tab and look for a "More DirectX" button. Click on that.

There should be a slider under the heading reading "Texel alignment". Slide the slider all the way to the left so the value reads 7, or "Upper Left Corner".

Apply the settings and close the Display Properties window. Start up Prophecy, and things will look fine.
