Im using VDMSound to run WC3 on win xp and its working perfectly, however when i went to change to disc 2 it didnt pick up the new cd, i thoguht the disc was scratched but it looked fine and the same problem was on cd 3 (for when you get killed movie). Any ideas how to get VDMSound to pick up the CD? Thank you :)

Immediately after you swap, you might alt+tab out to windows and bring up the disc in the explorer or something to make sure the computer is registering its contents. I assume you've tried this while VDMSound is not running to verify there isn't some defect in the disc you're not picking up with your eye. Once you're sure the disc has registered and spun up, and after you switch back to Wing Commander 3, are you hitting space/enter/mouse click to acknowledge?

Hi, yeah i triedall that, i managed to fix it by dragging all the files from the CD into the WC3 directory, i have to do this everytime i change disc but its all good :) thx tho

Hmmm. WC3 (normal version) ran just fine for me with VDMSound. There may have been something configured wrong. I'm not really sure what the problem would have been tho. Glad you found a work-around tho!!
