Using mIRC and WC chat

Ok, I downloaded mIRC, and I want to go the wing comander chat, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to work the thing, could somebody offer me some direcitons, I know nothing about IRC

Yeah.. just type /server irc.craplink.net in the status window and then /join #Wingnut once you're connected.

This is going to sound retarded, but I can't find were I installed mIRC anymore. I installed it to the default directory.

I think it defaults to c:\mIRC ... at least it did three versions or so ago when I installed it on this computer... If it's not there, just go to Start -> Find -> Files or Folders and look for mirc32.exe

I believe newer mIRCs get stuck in c:\program files\mIRC now.
