UK Software in a US Computer?

I just ordered a EA bundle from the UK. It has Alpha Centauri, Red Alert and the coveted WC: Prophecy Gold.

Now, even to me, this sounds like a slightly stupid question, but will the CD run in my American PC? I already ordered the CD, and am 90% sure it will, but I just want assurance from other people.

It should,i cant see why not.

I use software that comes from the U.K. sometimes and it works fine.I have a computer from a U.S. based company also.I live in the U.S. by the way.

It should run fine, with the following cautions:

-You must load the CD into the drive with the label side DOWN (since they drive on the wrong side of the road).

-You develop irresistable urge to fly with left-handed joystick.

-When onboard ship, the "head" is now the "loo".

-"TCS Midway" is now the "HMS Midway".

-Black Widow squadron now called "The knights who say 'Ni!' ".

-"aye-aye, Cap'n" now becomes "As you wish, Your Highness".

-In pilot bar, beer now served in "pints" (which is a GOOD thing), and is served warm (which is BAD).

-"Credits" are now "pounds", "shillings", "farthings", "quid", and "pence" (pertains more to Priv2, actually)

-Ship stats give mass in "stone", rather than tons.

-Mealtime: Steaks replaced with Kidney Pie on ships menu.

No, you must change your BIOS with a new english-compatible.
