Two issues (Phophecy, wing commander 4)

Hi

I thought I would throw these issues up here and see if I could get some help

Wing Commander IV, I have the dos version, and the Vista home basic package. When I go to install Wing Commander IV, it opens up a window, says that Vista can't open a full dos window and won't install. I wonder if anyone had a similar issue, and if they had a resolution.

When I try to install Wing Commander prophecy, I get to the install screen and says that I don't have enough drive space even though I have a full 130 GB's free on my C drive. Again I was wondering if anyone had a resolution.

Regarding WC4 you should try installing and running the game in Dosbox. Once you have it running there you can give the win95 patch a shot if you want.

Regarding Prophecy, did you set the compatability mode of the installer? Also if you are running the 64bit version that might lead to other problems with the games. If you still can't get it to work in Vista though, and have a left over copy of win95 or 98, you could try setting your machine up to run a Virtual Machine (essentialy the win95/98 - or even 3.1 if you want - running within vista (or xp))
