Troubles Installing WC3

Hello everyone,
I have been a long time fan of WC3 and 4. I dug my games out of the old dusty box and tried to install wc3 and couldn't get the sound or the svga to work.

I tried to run the .exe stated in the install but it didn't do anything.

Anyone know of any sites to look at for more info?

Well, if you are running the DOS version of the game in Windows XP, you are probably going to need to use a program like DOSBox.

I never had any trouble running the dos version in win9x. Does changing the compatibility mode of the wc3 executable solve any of your problems?
