Transfer issues WC1-WC2

Ok, I have finished WC1 through SM2. I have the Kilrathi Saga version of the games. I want to transfer my character from SM2-WC2. When I get to the transfer a character screen in WC2, it lists only saved games from WC1, not either secret missions. How do I transfer from SM2 to WC2.

I dunno about KS. DOS WC2 first give a menu to transfer from WC, SM1, or SM2, before asking where the savefiles are.
