subplot missions in privateer 2 the dark

hello
how long do i have to wait before i get some subplot emails. i got 200 kills and 250000 credits. the only subplot mission i did so far is the Xavier shondi one (first one)any help would be much appreciated.
 
If you're waiting for Dr. Loomis, you need to land on 5-10 different planets before you'll get the email to proceed after that. It sounds like you're past that.

The cinematic sideplot missions come more randomly/rarely, but what you're looking for is the main plot, and you need to go looking for it. There are numerous side-plot missions, that start with an email from Shondi, but are otherwise random and not exactly what you're looking for.

Your diary will always give you some clue about what to do next. Have you met Hal Taffin yet? You need to seek him out on Crius, and make sure you don't pay him!
 
I found the CIC's own Guides section helpful for the plot missions, but the non-plot side-quests really are quite random, from what I recall.

Yeah, certain ones are on certain discs, so you'd want to rotate them to see them all, but there's not much you can do to speed them along. The big one is the Ralph McCloud mission to unlock the Kraven IV lasers.
 
Different discs, eh? Probably another reason why I never found them all, especially the Melissa Banks and Ralph McCloud ones.
