Stuttering Video

Video and sound are stuttering when movies are playing in Wing COmmander Prophecy.

My Specs:

1.2 Ghz Athlon
256Mb RAM
VIA KT 266 chipset
Geforce 2 MX 400 64Mb
Soundblaster Live! Value

I have heard of turning off "Full Duplex Sound (Ability to play more than one WAV file)" but I can't seem to turn it off (or on for that matter) with my soundcard.

Ppplease Hhhelp!
 
Run dxdiag.exe from Start > Run and disable hardware acceleration for your sound card. You don't have to reboot. Remember to turn it back on when you're done playing.
