still more problems with dosbox wc2 :/

hi, sorry for asking but i've been tinkering a while to try and get this game running under dosbox. my problem is that it crashes at the first mission on the concordia, the bomber escort, right when i hit the second nav point it hangs. tried everything: loadfix with various sizes, en/disabling speech and ems (the latter actually aggravating the problem), messed with the cpu emulation method... no dice at all. so here i am in 2006 and i STILL haven't managed to play the game :( can anyone suggest a solution to my problem? thanks in advance :D
 
i stand corrected: i found the solution to my problem to be the manual enabling of loadfix, rather than through the configurator, but i noticed it only on a second read-through. sorry for the disturbance, please delete ;)
