sound problems

I have wing commander 2 deluxe eition on cd by origin. on my old computer I managed to get the sound working with lots of faffing about. involved expanding memory etc. but now on my new computer I can't for the life of me. the game runs fine but I alwys get the sound card is not 100% compatible and off course the game works but with no sound . I think i've managed sound effects b4 . So I was hoping someone could tell me what cards will work so I can get hold of one? also trying to get sound on sam and max , my old computers card managed both.

Grab a sound blaster 16 or AWE32. They will work with any dos game ever made. You can get them on ebay for a dollar, they are that common.
