Solution to Run Privateer Did Not Work For Me

Hi all. I used the boot disk solution presented at the top of the forum to try and run Privateer, but alas, it did not work. At all.

Here is what is told me after I ran priv.exe:

"VCPI server has reprogrammed the interrupt controller."

When I don't do all the boot disk stuff, it just displayed a bunch of memory numbers, gives me an error serial number, and says "JEMM unloaded."

Help!

Could you post the exact contents of your autoexec.bat and your config.sys from that bootdisk.

Autoexec.bat:

Config.sys:

device=c:\dos\himem.sys
device=c:\dos\emm386.exe
dos=high,umb

buffers=30

I didn't need to load any CD stuff since Privateer isn't running off a CD. Also, it said that with loading emm386.exe, himem.sys wasn't needed and was just taking up additional memory. I've never seen that before.
