's the sound he makes when he swallows. I think when Gandalf is relating his story about Smaegol he refers to Smaegol talking "with many Golems thrown in" or something.

The spelling probably ruined the joke. I will explain it. Seamgul, I think you got and the Golem part is somthing he said in the movie-Golem as in his alter personality, sorry about the spelling.
Smeagyver is the main character's name played by Seamgul. Seamgul is basically impersonating McGyver orginally played by Richard Anderson. Of course now the joke is ruined, but nobody could even read it in the 1st place.
The gist of the joke imagining a schitzophernic little imp-like character from Lord of the Rings(see the movie for reference) defusing/set off (depending on which personality was dominant at the moment) nuclear bombs with nothing tissue paper and little wads of bubble-gum while ol' Dean served as comic relief. I guess it was something you just had to imagine to understand.
