Is Tarawa a Ranger carrier or Victory? I get them mixed up, some ppl call them Rangers and some Victory.

Neither... It's a CVE (an Escort Carrier)... It doesn't look like a Ranger at all... and the Victory class is a transport class, not a carrier. The TCS Victory from WC3 was a Ranger Class Light Carrier.

fe·al·ty (fl-t)
n. pl. fe·al·ties

1) The fidelity owed by a vassal to his feudal lord.
2) The oath of such fidelity.
3) Faithfulness; allegiance.

and don't post things like 'Just ask LOAF'... they don't help at all and just take up space.

Sorry. I'll keep it in mind. (about the posts)

And thanks for looking it up! (about the word)

Here is Tarawa today>>>>
(If the pic is too big, I'm sorry, it won't happen again...I just couldn't find a smaller one.)

it's getting kinda rusty dont you think? wonder if the WC Tarawathever is just as butched up, whats the scoop on it anyways?

We don't know what class the Tarawa is... it's *not* Ranger class. We do know that it's one of these: Crete, Enigma, Gallipoli, Iwo Jima, Khorsan, Saipan, or Wake.

(As an side, 'Victory class' refers to a type of transport -- the WC3 carrier is Ranger class).

Tarawa was a Jeep Carrier, which to me, means she was kind of a slap-together ship based from the Ranger series.

I lower my hat to you sir, and stand corrected. Though I don't have my copy of ER in front of me, I do remember that line. Thank you.

Okay... brilliant military plan... we're running low on carriers... so lets take our carriers... AND CONVERT THEM INTO CARRIERS!
